quotes that inspire me

"The absence of flaw in beauty is itself a flaw."
Havelock Ellis, Impressions and Comments (1914)

"Whatever is in any way beautiful hath its source of beauty in itself, and is complete in itself; praise forms no part of it. So it is none the worse nor the better for being praised."

"The ability to see beauty is the beginning of our moral sensibility. What we believe is beautiful we will not wantonly destroy."
Reverend Sean Parker Dennison, Ministrare, 2-10-05

Salma Hayek

"So you see, imagination needs moodling - long, inefficient, happy idling, dawdling and puttering."
Brenda Ueland

"To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong."
Joseph Chilton Pearce

"Creativity is...seeing something that doesn't exist already. You need to find out how you can bring it into being and that way be a playmate with God."
Michele Shea

"Creativity represents a miraculous coming together of the uninhibited energy of the child with its apparent opposite and enemy, the sense of order imposed on the disciplined adult intelligence."
Norman Podhoretz

"Dance is the hidden language of the soul."
Martha Graham

"The dance is a poem of which each movement is a word."
Mata Hari

You see things; and you say, 'Why?' But I dream things that never were; and I say, "Why not?"
